Taylor Swift, one of the most globally acclaimed American music artists is reigning on top of the charts in Australia.
As per reports, her latest re-recorded album “1989 (Taylor’s Version)” is safely perched at the number one position in the country for an entire month which makes this her longest number one reigning re-recorded album as compared to her previous ones.
Swift released this re-recorded version of her album “1989” in October this year much to the excitement of her fans.
According to reports, “1989” was one of those albums where she moved from her usual genre of country music to mainstream pop. The songs from that album not only became favourites for her existing fans who are known as “Swifties” but also helped her expand her fanbase.
The re-recorded songs in “1989 (Taylor’s Version)” are believed to have reaffirmed her love for the songs she had made in the original record. According to reports, the tracks in this album have been described as being more “clean” and “smooth” as compared to the ones in the original record.
Swift sang the songs in the re-released version with much more clarity and maturity and she sounded more at ease when she was hitting the lower notes without straining the higher tones at the same time.
As per reports, the track called “I Know Places” sounded much better in the re-recorded version than in the original version.
This was because the track was a very difficult one to sing and in the original album, Swift’s voice sounded “shrill.” However, in the re-released version she sounded more “in control” of her voice which enhanced the track.
This new album introduced 5 new songs which were known as “From The Vault” tracks.
