Telugu actress Niharika Konidela confirms divorce with Chaitanya JV on Instagram, asks for 'kindness'

Niharika Konidela confirmed separation from business strategist husband, Chaitanya Jonnalagadda on Wednesday. Taking to social media, the estranged couple issued a joint official statement on their respective Instagram accounts. In their Instagram posts, the duo revealed that the decision to part ways was mutual.

They also requested 'kindness' and sensitivity during this time. They also expressed gratitude to their family and friends for their unwavering support. Konidela's statement read, «Chaitanya and I have decided to mutually part ways and ask for kindness and sensitivity as we move on.

Thank you to my family and friends who have been pillars of support. I request some privacy for us to navigate this new normal in private. Thank you for understanding.» It is not yet known if the pair have filed for divorce.

It was understood that Niharika moved back with her family before confirming the speculations. Reports suggest that trouble started brewing between the couple last year. Recently, Chaitanya attended the Global Vipassana Pagoda meditation centre for 10 days in Mumbai.

The divorce speculations started when Niharika deleted wedding pictures and images of Chaitanya from her Instagram account. The couple even unfollowed each other, which lead to rumours of an impending divorce. Recently, the actress also attended her actor-brother Varun Tej's engagement to Lavanya Tripathi alone.
