People with doctoral degrees earn the highest salaries ( ₹2,752,407 on an average) while people below High School degrees earn ₹1,112,499 on an average. In terms of average annual salaries in cities, Solapur emerges as the city with the highest figures, standing at ₹2,810,092, as per the Average Salary Survey.
Mumbai follows closely behind with an average annual salary of ₹2,117,870, reflecting the financial opportunities available in the country's bustling financial capital. Moving to the southern region, Bengaluru, known as India's Silicon Valley, boasts an average annual salary of ₹2,101,388. Meanwhile, the national capital, Delhi, offers an average annual salary of ₹2,043,703, reaffirming its position as a major economic hub and a centre for various industries.
Heading towards the eastern part of the country, Bhubaneshwar showcases an average annual salary of ₹1,994,259. Jodhpur, located in the western state of Rajasthan, has an average annual salary of ₹1,944,814, reflecting the economic dynamics and employment opportunities in the region. In Pune and Srinagar, the average annual salaries are reported to be ₹1,895,370.
