Telangana State Cyber Security Bureau (TGCSB).
Tagging Andhra Pradesh Police and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, Sai Dharam Tej, known for his strong stance on social issues, took to X (formerly Twitter) to condemn Praneeth's comments, describing them as “gruesome, disgusting, and scary.” The actor's post prompted a swift response from Telangana’s Director General of Police, Ravi Gupta, who confirmed the filing of an FIR against Praneeth.
“Addressing the inappropriate comments on a child, an FIR has been filed with @TGCyberBureau, and strict actions will follow,” DGP Gupta stated. He further emphasized the Telangana government’s commitment to protecting children and raising awareness about child safety and responsible social media use.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy also expressed his concern, thanking Sai Dharam Tej for bringing the issue to light. “Child safety is the utmost priority for our Government. We will look into this incident and take appropriate action,” he affirmed.
Manchu Manoj, taking to X, urged the Telangana CM and other officials to take stringent action against Praneeth. He wrote, “It’s appalling to see individuals like @phanumantwo spreading abuse and hate under the guise of humour. Child safety and women's protection must be our top priorities.”
Manoj also highlighted his previous attempts to engage with Praneeth regarding women’s issues, stressing that silence and inaction are not options.
