Musk recently claimed on X, his social media platform, that Wilson was «born gay and slightly autistic,» and reminisced about her allegedly picking out clothes for him as a child and calling them «fabulous.» However, Wilson, who is transgender and legally changed her name in 2022, firmly denied these claims.
«Entirely fake,» Wilson wrote on Threads. «Literally none of this ever happened. Ever. He doesn't know what I was like as a child because he simply wasn't there, and in the little time that he was, I was relentlessly harassed for my femininity and queerness.»
Wilson, now 20, came out as transgender in 2022, dropping her birth name Xavier and the Musk surname. Her mother is Justine Wilson, Musk's ex-wife.
In a recent interview with Canadian psychologist Dr. Jordan Peterson, Musk vowed to combat what he called the «woke mind virus,» which he blamed for «killing» his son. Musk claimed he was deceived into consenting to Wilson’s transition, asserting that gender dysphoria and puberty blockers were misrepresented to him.
