The WorldGrad, overseas education provider has established a partnership with La Trobe University, a university in Australia, for its ‘Global Year one Smart Programme.’ The programme aims to enable students to complete the first year of their bachelor’s degree. Upon achieving this milestone, they are not only guaranteed admission to La Trobe University in Australia but also qualify for full post-study work rights. Developed in conjunction with Pearson, the Smart Programme awards students the Pearson BTEC Level-four certificate, which is equivalent to the initial year of an Australian or United Kingdom (UK) bachelor’s degree, according to an official release.
Upon finishing their year one studies with The WorldGrad, students can transition to year two of a Bachelor of Information Technology degree at La Trobe University’s campuses in Melbourne or Bendigo, Victoria, Australia. This transition comes with financial benefits, including fee subsidies and savings on living expenses for the first year of studies, resulting in substantial savings of up to Rs 25 lakh on their overall cost of education. Additionally, students moving to La Trobe can apply for scholarships offered by the university, the release mentioned.
