Netflix to obtain the official rights for producing merchandise for the movie 'The Archies'. The movie was released on Netflix on December 7th. UNIREC's merchandise will be crafted using sustainable fabrics, and initiative and the company has also pledged to plant a tree for every garment sold.
All UNIREC garments are made from recycled plastic bottles or RPET fabric. The designs of 'The Archies' merchandise are centered around various elements of the film's plot, including the band and its members, the company said.
In line with UNIREC's commitment to sustainability, all garments in the collection are made from recycled plastic bottles or RPET fabric.
The brand has also developed innovative fabrics suitable for the Indian climate. The 'The Archies' merchandise collection features all-weather round neck T-shirts and hoodies, which are crafted from a blend of cotton and RPET fabric.
UNIREC's official website will be the primary platform for purchasing the T-shirts and hoodies, with prices starting at Rs 999 for T-shirts and Rs 1999 for hoodies.
The collection will subsequently be made available on leading marketplaces and offline stores.

UNIREC has also partnered with an NGO called Global Vikas Trust, which focuses on the rural economy and environment. For every garment sold, UNIREC will plant a tree through this initiative in Marathwada, Maharashtra.
