Australia
Australia warned its citizens of the gun culture in the US, told them that shooting incidents are frequent in that country, and warned them that gun crime is possible in all areas.
It said, “Violent crime is more common than in Australia. Gun crime is also prevalent. If you live in the US, learn and practice active shooter drills.
Thieves target travelers. Take care in crowded areas and on public transport. Conceal your valuables, and don't leave items unattended in your car.
There's a persistent and heightened threat of terrorist attacks and mass casualty violence in the US. Be alert, particularly in public places and at events.”
Canada
The Canadian government warns its citizens: “The rate of firearm possession in the US is high. It’s legal in many states for US citizens to openly carry firearms in public.
Incidents of mass shootings occur, resulting most often in casualties. Although tourists are rarely involved, there is a risk of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Familiarize yourself with how to respond to an active shooter situation.”
United Kingdom
The UK government has also warned its citizens of gun culture, violent crimes, and mass shooting incidents.
It said, “Attacks could be indiscriminate, including in places visited by foreigners, crowded areas, and transportation networks.
Monitor media reports and be vigilant at all times. The main threat comes from individuals who may have been inspired by terrorist ideology to carry out ‘lone actor’ attacks targeting public events or places. Attacks could take place with little or no notice.”
Israel
The Israeli government issues warning on a scale from 01 to 04 and its warning is focused on terror attacks.
