According to Adair, the Republican party has the tendency of lying much more than the Democrats, which has been going on for sometime now, but the disparity between the parties has only grown over time, and not lessened by a bit. His analysis suggests that Republicans lied 55% of the time between 2016 to 2021, as compared to the Democrats' 31%.
According to Adair, it really affected his company's discourse around the fact that the republicans resort to lying and misleading the American voters so much by taking 'too much liberties'. And he is asserting the fact that this thing has been going on much before he initiated PolitiFact, as lying to the mass has always been a thing for both the parties, but the Republicans always had the edge in this area.
