Donald Trump has shocked everyone by suggesting that it would Xi Jinping, who would be the first to receive a call from him after winning the US elections 2024. This call would be regarding enforcement of a major trade deal that was in the works during his tenure as the 45th President, but couldn't see the light of day in the Biden administration. Trump wishes to revive talks around this trade deals, which he believes would be great for America's international trade relations, says a Fox News report.

In terms of international trade, America has always been soft on China, with the Asian nation being one of the biggest exporters for America, in terms of electronic components, industrial equipment, and so much more. His sudden plans of reviving a trade deal from his previous tenure is primarily focused around buying $50 billion worth of American farm product. Trump has publicly stated that he is confident Jinping will be honoring the deal and he is confident that it will follow through till the very end.
This recent statement came in the backdrop of a campaign event in Pennsylvania, where Trump had visited farmers in a large barn and listened to their tales of woe, around the deteriorating farming culture in the United States.
