United Airlines to not resume flights to Israel on Nov 24: Spokesperson
United Airlines will not restart flights to Tel Aviv, Israel from Newark, New Jersey on Nov. 24, its spokesperson said on Monday, apologizing for the news on resumption of service, which it attributed to an error by its public relations agency.
Several media organizations, including Reuters, had earlier reported the service restart based on the statement from the airline's PR agency.
Its flights to Tel Aviv will remain suspended until conditions allow them to resume, the company said.
The airline was one of several to suspend or scale back flights to or from Tel Aviv after a surprise attack by Hamas on Oct. 7 raised safety concerns amid rising tensions in the Middle East.
