United Spirits shares drop 1.08% as Sensex rises
United Spirits Ltd. traded 1.08 per cent lower in Wednesday's session at 12:53PM (IST). The stock opened at Rs 1078.0 and has touched an intraday high and low of Rs 1078.0 and Rs 1056.85, respectively, during the session so far.
The stock quoted a 52-week high of Rs 1123.95 and a 52-week low of 730.9. About 25,183 shares changed hands on the counter so far.
Benchmark Nifty50 was up 40.55 points at 20895.65, while the BSE Sensex traded 214.15 points higher at 69510.29 at the time of writing of this report.

Key Financials For the quarter ended 30-Sep-2023, the company reported consolidated sales of Rs 6776.6 crore, up 16.23 per cent from the previous quarter's Rs 5830.1 crore and up 132.19 per cent from the year-ago quarter. The company reported net profit of Rs 339.3 crore for the latest quarter.
Promoter Holdings Promoters held 56.67 per cent stake in the company as of 30-Sep-2023, while FIIs held 16.51 per cent and MFs 9.96 per cent.
Technicals On the technical charts, the 200-Day Moving Average (DMA) of the stock stood at Rs 919.57 on December 06, while the 50-DMA was at Rs 1043.27. If a stock trades above 50-DMA and 200-DMA, it usually means the immediate trend is upward.
