The Ambassador looked dapper dressed in a fawn-coloured kurta, which he teamed up with a crimson scraf.
Meanwhile, the White House also hosted its Diwali celebration, recognizing the contributions of Indian Americans to the strengthening of the US-India relationship. Eric Garcetti praised the event and emphasized the importance of Diwali and the role of Indian Americans in deepening bilateral ties. In a post on X, he expressed gratitude for the festival, stating that it symbolizes light, peace, and prosperity spreading across the world.
This year’s Diwali celebration at the White House, held on October 28, was a special one, marking the final Diwali hosted by President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden during their current term. Over the years, the Bidens have added a personal touch to the celebration, recognizing its significance for the Indian diaspora.
