For the EB-2 category, designated for professionals holding advanced degrees or individuals with exceptional ability, India sees a two-week advancement to October 15, 2012. While the pace of movement remains slow, it offers incremental progress for those in this highly oversubscribed category.
The EB-3 Professionals and Skilled Workers category, which includes professionals with bachelor's degrees and skilled workers, also shows a two-week advancement for India, moving to December 15, 2012. Similarly, in the EB-3 Other Workers category, catering to unskilled labor, India’s Final Action Date advances by two weeks to the same date of December 15, 2012.
