The shortlisted candidates will now undergo document verification and physical tests before the final selection. «Based on the normalized scores, merit, and the reservation policies of Uttar Pradesh, approximately 2.5 times the advertised vacancies—totaling 1,74,316 candidates—have been shortlisted for document verification and physical standards testing,» an official stated.
The written exam, held in 10 phases, assessed candidates for positions within the Civil Police. The evaluation process included normalising marks based on recruitment rules and the initial advertisement.
Cut-off marks vary by category. For the General category, the cut-off is 214 for males and 203 for females. The EWS category cut-off is 187 for males and 180 for females. OBC category cut-off stands at 198 for males and 189 for females. The SC category has a cut-off of 178 for males and 169 for females. Finally, the ST category cut-off is 146 for males and 136 for females.
