Varun Beverages shares gain 1.94% as Sensex falls

Varun Beverages Ltd. traded at Rs 1459.0 on BSE at 10:05AM (IST) on Thursday, up 1.94 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 754.35 and a high of Rs 1560.3.
Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap up opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 86.34 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 16.65 per share and 23.16 times its book value, as per BSE data.
A total of 44,065 shares changed hands on the counter till 10:05AM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 186847.76 crore and is part of the FMCG Food & Beverages industry.
The scrip has been an outperformer, up 77.18 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 20.44 per cent gain in Sensex.
During the day, the stock moved between Rs 1463.0 and Rs 1430.8.
Promoter/FII Holding Promoters held 62.91 per cent in the company as of 31-Mar-2024. FII and MF ownership in Varun Beverages Ltd. stood at 25.78 per cent and 2.26 per cent, respectively.
