Vinesh Phogat was disqualified on Wednesday from the Olympics after exceeding the weight limit ahead of her women’s 50kg final, leaving her without a medal just hours after nearing an unprecedented gold. Phogat had made history by becoming the first Indian woman wrestler to reach the gold medal bout on Tuesday night.
