Voltas on Monday posted a 160% year-on-year (YoY) jump in consolidated net profit to Rs 335 crore for the June quarter of FY25. It had clocked Rs 129 crore profit in the year-ago period.
The company's income from operations increased 47% YoY to Rs 4,904 crore versus Rs 3,335 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding fiscal.
The firm also achieved the milestone of one million units of AC sales in Q1 FY25 and its total income crossed the Rs 5,000-crore mark in the June quarter.
For the quarter, Voltas' unitary cooling products segment revenue grew 51.2% YoY to Rs 3,802 crore.
Voltas said that the unitary cooling products business continued to outperform the market and maintained its growth momentum. Overall volume grew by 67%. Voltas continues to be a market leader both in Split and Window Air-conditioners with an Exit Market Share of 21.2% as of June 2024.
Electro-mechanical projects and services segment revenue for the quarter was higher by 40%, at Rs 949 crores as compared to Rs 679 crores in the corresponding quarter last year.
