Ronaldo escaped injury by whiskers at the end of Portugal's shocking loss to Georgia. As he left the pitch and moved, a fan jumped over the stands, came close to knocking the superstar to the ground and Ronaldo came inches away from being two-footed in the chest. After a shocking and embarrassing 0-2 defeat at the hands of Georgia at the Veltins Arena in Gelsenkirchen, Ronaldo and his other teammates moved off the pitch when suddenly a fan jumped down from the gallery and almost hit the great football player. He was not injured, but it raised the question of safety in the field and how to manage the anger of the fans.
A video of the incident has gone viral on social media platforms. In a video uploaded on X account of EuroFoot, a fan can be seen hopping over the barrier in the stands to try and get close to the Al-Nassr hero as he walked down the tunnel.

In an earlier incident taking place on Saturday when Portugal played against Turkey in Dortmund, four supporters suddenly came and confronted him demanding selfies. The Al-Nassr player posed for a selfie with a young fan who evaded stewards to get on the field in the 69th minute. Expressing concerns over the incident, Portugal's Roberto Martinez coach said Ronaldo was fortunate not to have been harmed.
