Mpox spreading across the world
The three Pakistani citizens had recently arrived from Dubai, after which they had reported symptoms which were similar to the monkeypox virus, that is currently rampaging the entire African region and also spreading to the MENA regions. WHO has already declared Mpox, which was previously known as monkeypox, as a global health emergency and ha urged health officials worldwide to study and detect symptoms of anyone with potential chances of contracting this virus.

Monkeypox cases surge twice in as many years
Monkeypox is one of the latest virus to see a major outbreak in the last two years, after Covid-19 had created a massive rampage across the world, sending nearly the entire planet into nationwide lockdowns and social distancing protocols. Mpox, which ahs now been flagged as a major health issue by the WHO, could become a full-blown crisis now that it is spreading to densely populated regions in Asia. Cases in India, Pakistan and China could take a turn for the worst due to the amount of population in these countries, that would make this disease very tough to content in case of a full-blown pandemic.
