Andor' was delayed due to strikes by SAG-AFTRA and WGA and the plans were upset, but now the shooting of the movie has finished. Sharing this news in an Instagram post, Diego Luna wrote, «Today is the last day of filming Andor. I could not be more thankful to the entire crew for this amazing experience and the years of hard work.» He wrote further that more than 700 people have worked on this project, and it is impossible to say goodbye and thank you to everyone individually.
'Screenrant' has reported that though the filming has been completed, the show is not likely to arrive on Disney+ before 2025. Luthen Rael actor Stellan Skarsgard indicated that the movie may return sooner. But Dinsey is quite busy as it has planned four other Star Wars shows for a 2024 release.

Show creator Tony Gilroy told 'Polygon' about 'skipping a whole year. He said that he came back a year later, and many things have changed. He also said that three episodes would be made and it would take one more year.
Though it is not clear when Disney will officially release 'Andor Season 2', it may arrive in early 2025.
