Usha Vance has mostly followed Melania Trump's lead and stayed silent on the campaign trail since JD Vance was announced as Donald Trump's running mate at the Republican National Convention more than a month ago. She makes frequent appearances at her husband's campaign events; even though he is a vice presidential candidate, it would be easy to miss them if you weren't paying close attention.
Taylor Van Kirk, a spokesman for Senator Vance, responded to the Daily Beast when asked about Usha's appearances and said that she is actually with her husband on the trail today and has appeared at multiple events on the campaign trail with him.
However, the attorney hasn't adopted the same level of involvement that Gwen, the wife of Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Walz, has. While the Democrat has been the talk of fundraisers, slamming the Republican ticket with her teacher's voice, Vance's appearances have mainly consisted of greetings and pleasantries.

Since the RNC, Vance has supported her husband at least seven times, including at the Milwaukee Police Association and a Reno event. Ironically, the would-be second lady was at Gordon's Butcher & Market in Erie, Pennsylvania, last week, after having greeted voters at a diner in St. Cloud, Minnesota, in July.
