The video was shared by an X user named 'joedirt5'. Dropping the clip, he wrote, «If the white man made street food the same way Indians do.»
In the clip, a white man dressed in faded, stained clothes and with a towel around his neck is seen preparing a sandwich using less than clean utensils. He is seen spreading ricebran oil in an unwashed skillet, placing bread slices and roughly chopped potatoes on top before spreading cheese strips from an unwashed paint bucket. In the background, some Indians could be seen having a row in Hindi and Bengali. The sandwich is finally scooped by a shovel and put in old newspaper containers.
The video, which gained more than 6.7 million views on X, had many netizens scoff at how Indian street food vendors disregard hygiene.
