Anna Kane, the ex-wife of Edmonton Oilers player Evander Kane, has publicly identified herself as one of the women accusing Sean “Diddy” Combs of sexual assault. Filed under the pseudonym “Jane Doe” in December 2023, Kane’s lawsuit alleges she was drugged and gang-raped by Combs, his associate Harve Pierre, and an unnamed individual in 2008 when she was 17.
“I had hoped to use a pseudonym in pursuing justice for what happened to me as a teenager,” Kane said in a statement to Us Weekly on 7 December. “Defendants’ demand that I use my name was an attempt to intimidate me, but I am not intimidated. I am prepared to proceed and hold accountable those who have harmed me.”
Allegations and Events in 2008
The lawsuit outlines harrowing allegations of abuse. According to Kane, she met Pierre at a Detroit nightclub, where he referred to her as “hot” and introduced her to Combs over the phone. Pierre arranged for Kane to fly to New York with him and a third man to meet Combs. During the flight, Kane alleges Pierre forced her to perform oral sex while under the influence of crack cocaine.
Upon arrival at Daddy’s House Recording Studio in New York, Kane claims she was given drugs and alcohol before being sexually assaulted by all three men. The filing describes Kane as being “barely able to walk” afterward, with limited memory of the return flight to Michigan.
The lawsuit also includes photos of Kane from inside the studio, including one of her sitting on Combs’ lap.
