pop singer Mariah Carey and her boyfriend Bryan Tanaka have split after seven years of relationship. A source told 'Page Six' that Tanaka wants to have a family and that is not where she is at. While the pop diva shares 12-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe with her ex-husband Nick Cannon, Tanaka does not have his own children.
Rumors of a split began doing rounds when the Queen of Christmas went on her annual trip to Aspen, Colorado with her boyfriend. Besides, Bryan Tanaka was also missing from her 'Merry Christmas One and All!' tour that started in November at the Yaamava Resort & Casino in Highland, California.
Another source said that Tanaka wants to start having his own life. Earlier this month Mariah Carey fueled speculation that the relationship was over when she told 'People' month that she had a tough year. Later the 'Obsessed' singer also said, «I’ve been looking forward to this Christmas for, like, the whole year. Since last year — because last year wasn’t the greatest.»
Mariah Carey further said she was thankful for them all, but it wasn’t my most fun version of Christmas ever.
The Grammy winner and Tanaka were last spotted together during her birthday in March. Carey broke up with Tanaka in 2017, but they ended up getting back together quickly.
'Page Six' reported on Wednesday that Carey was spotted solo in Aspen in a cropped white Prada puffer jacket over a white tank and a short flared skirt, with sheer white tights and Giuseppe Zanotti boots.
