In December 2024, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed that Warner Bros. Discovery had opted not to renew its agreement to finance the production or air new episodes of Sesame Street on Max.
The decision marks a shift in Max’s content strategy, with the streaming platform focusing more on adult and family programming.
