YouTube sensation MrBeast is reportedly leasing the Great Pyramids of Giza for 100 hours to produce content for his channel. He disclosed this during a conversation on the Beyond the Records podcast with Olympic athlete Noah Lyles. Although he hasn’t filmed the video yet, MrBeast mentioned he’s been granted full access to the pyramids for a 100-hour period.
He shared: «We have access to all three of Egypt's pyramids for 100 hours. I'm going to make a video where I can explore every part of the pyramids.»
He went on to describe how the video will feature him and his crew «spending the night inside the pyramids» as they’ll have them «completely to ourselves.»
When inquired about how he secured private access and permission to film, he explained that he collaborated with the Egyptian government. He added: «I’ve never been inside before. I want to uncover hidden secrets and explore all the rooms, tombs, and similar areas.»
Although they will have a guide in some parts of the video, MrBeast emphasized that his primary goal is to showcase areas of the pyramids «that have never been seen by the public.»
He continued: «I’m super thrilled because there are these hidden passageways far below as well. I have no idea what to expect.» I'm truly amazed, and I believe his next target might be either the Colosseum or the catacombs of Paris.
