Agentic AI will be adept in solving complex problems, and other the human touch, it will be able to pull of any task expected from a human. Agentic AI an prove to be very useful in business process services, call centers, banks, data entry and many other sectors of businesses.
However, the biggest problem lies in the fact that companies may begin laying off employees and adopting AI in their workforce so that they can get more work done in lesser time, and also cut down major company expenses.
Meta has already decided upon replacing midlevel engineers with AI for coding an automation, according to a previous ET report. This is a major sign that jobs in US are currently in danger, but there are obviously multiple ways to deal with it.
However, there is a counter argument that AI will help small teams scale quickly and operate more efficiently, as all the efforts required for basic tasks may now be undertaken by an AI, and humans would then switch their focus to other trivial issues, thus saving time and money in the long run.
