Disney has approached Austin Butler to lead the cast ensemble of a proposed movie of the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' franchise. Margot Robbie may join him. It is clear that Johnny Depp, who has made the lead character legendary with his acting, accent and comedy, will not be in the film. 'Life & Style' has reported that even if Butler leads the film, it doesn’t mean curtains for Margot’s take or even a return appearance by Johnny. The entertainment outlet has also said that both Margot Robbie and Johnny Depp might still appear in the next Pirates of the Caribbean film.
Butler is known for his work in Baz Luhrmann's Elvis movie. He has also appeared in 'Dune: Part Two' and 'The Bike Riders'. Quoting an unnamed insider, 'Life & Style' has claimed that the script is not ready, and Austin doesn’t sign up for a movie without seeing what the story is going to be.
The producers of the film are just to get a script, and there’s no reason Margot and Johnny can’t be invited to join the film and they agree to make some surprise appearances or cameos.
