Kelsey Grammer, who originally portrayed Hank McCoy, a.k.a. Beast, in X-Men: The Last Stand (2006), has reignited hope for the character’s continued presence in the MCU. In a recent interview with ComicBook, while discussing the upcoming second season of Frasier, Grammer was asked about his potential return as Beast following The Marvels cameo.

Although Grammer remained tight-lipped about specific details, he did express that the response to his appearance in The Marvels was overwhelming, indicating that there have been discussions about his character's future. “There’s nothing I can talk about,” Grammer said. “But I do know there was a huge sort of outburst when I showed up at the end of The Marvels. The response was… almost overwhelming, and so there are some conversations.”
Grammer’s cameo in The Marvels saw Beast appear through CGI rather than the practical makeup effects used in his previous performances. Fans were thrilled by his reappearance, which took place in a universe where Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) finds herself stranded after closing the jump point during the climactic battle against Dar-Benn.
