The "unusual" incident took place on Monday morning, according to Lancaster County Chief Deputy Ben Houchin.
Houchin stated that the woman, named as Lincoln resident Constance Glantz, was given CPR by funeral home personnel. When she was still alive, she was brought to a local hospital. Regretfully, Glantz died at around 4 p.m. the same day. Her family was informed of the circumstances. The Sheriff's department acknowledged the unfathomable suffering the family must be going through and sent their sincere sympathies. The Lancaster County attorney also ordered an autopsy, the results of which might not be known for up to 12 weeks.
