Originally known as “Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child of Fire” and “Part Two: The Scargiver,” the new versions are titled “Rebel Moon — Chapter One: Chalice of Blood” and “Chapter Two: Curse of Forgiveness.” These versions are described as “bloodier.”
Plot and Characters
The story is set on a peaceful settlement on a distant moon. The settlement is threatened by the armies of Regent Balisarius. Kora, a mysterious stranger, becomes the best hope for survival. She is tasked with finding trained fighters to unite and stand against the Motherworld. Kora assembles a small band of warriors, including outsiders, insurgents, peasants, and orphans of war. They share a common need for redemption and revenge. As the shadow of an entire realm bears down on the moon, a new army of heroes is formed.
Release Date
“Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child of Fire” was released on Netflix on December 15, 2023. “Part Two” followed on April 19, 2024. The director’s cut will be released on August 2, 2024. This
