Chandrayaan 3 mission has started a Twitter war after a UK-based news anchor opined that Delhi should not be asking for foreign aid following the successful moon mission. Following which, many infuriated netizens reminded him of the $45 trillion Britain looted from India in the past. It all started after the UK's GB News anchor, Patrick Christys, congratulated India on its moon mission and then asked the country to return the 2.3 billion pounds it got as foreign aid. «I would like to congratulate India on landing on the dark side of the moon. I would also like to invite India to return the 2.3 billion pounds of foreign aid between 2016 and 2021.» He added that the British taxpayer should also withhold the proposed 57 million pounds of foreign aid that the UK set to send to India next year. «We should not be giving money to countries with a space program. As a rule, if you can afford to fire rockets to the dark side of the moon, you shouldn't be coming to us with your handout,» he added.

UPS Citi Amazon Platform TikTok TikTok plans to ban links to e-commerce websites such as Amazon: Report
TikTok is reportedly planning to ban links to outside e-commerce websites such as Amazon, as it ramps up its shopping platform in the US. The move is seen as a way for the company to force people to use TikTok Shop if they want to purchase an item that they see on the app, reports 'The Information'. According to the report, TikTok Shop is on track to lose more than $500 million in the US this year. «TikTok Shop, the app's nascent shopping service, is expected to lose more than $500 million in the US this year,» said the report, citing sources. The loss reflects TikTok's heavy investment in hiring, building a delivery network and «subsidising merchants that offer double-digit-percentage discounts and free shipping,» the report added. Consumers in the US are spending around $3-$4 million a day on TikTok Shop. The company expects this figure to exceed $10 million by the end of the year. UPS BLOCK Digital Progressive Oscar country Latin EU’s green rules clash with trade goals as India talks resume
European Union and India will try to advance talks on a trade deal this week as the bloc’s demands for strict sustainability requirements have become a key stumbling block. European Commission Vice President Valdis Dombrovskis will discuss the proposed pact with Indian commerce minister Piyush Goyal on the sidelines of a Group of 20 trade meeting in India, as both sides seek to diversify their economies away from China. The EU has a strong interest in sealing the trade deal but the bloc’s sustainability regime is complicating its trade negotiations across a number of countries, people familiar with the matter said. The bloc needs to figure out how to communicate more clearly that green elements in the trade talks are legally required to avoid being labeled as protectionist, the people added. The EU sees part of its mission as using its economic weight to promote green goals globally, but other countries are often reluctant to make those kind of commitments, which has snagged negotiations on a range of trade deals from South America to Asia.
