IFFCO has moved the NCLT against Swan Energy Ltd (SEL) and their joint venture Triumph Offshore to restrain their JV firm from passing any resolution without its approval and issuing any share/security to the lenders against loans. Seeking an injunction against any such proposal, IFFCO, in its petition filed before the Ahmedabad bench of the NCLT, alleged that Triumph Offshore is pre-paying the debt, which may result in dilution of its shareholding in the joint venture firm and is detrimental to its interest. IFFCO has moved the NCLT under sections 241 and 242 of the Companies Act 2013, alleging oppression and mismanagement. It has prayed to restrain Swan Energy and Triumph Offshore «from passing any board resolution without the prior written approval of petitioner (IFFCO), with reference to the substitution of the bank term loan with promoters loan or from issuing any shares/security or any instrument convertible into equity in favour of R2 (SEL) or any third party, which may result into diluting shareholder of the petitioner».

IndiGo on Wednesday announced new domestic route additions to its flight network. The latest routes will be functional from March 31, 2024. The airline has also announced direct flights between Kolkata-Srinagar and Kolkata-Jammu from April 10, 2024 and April 21, 2024, respectively. Ahmedabad-based realty firm Savvy Group has emerged the highest bidder for developing the largest commercial and recreational project in the special economic zone of Gujarat International Finance Tec-City, or GIFT City. The project — spread over 2.8 million sq ft and entailing an investment of more than ₹1,200 crore — will also include an innovation and startup hub. The company has pipped three other bidders to bag the proposed project that surpasses all existing developments within the GIFT City, which previously boasted the largest development covering a million sq ft.

According to the police, bus broke the roadside railing and fell 25 feet down on the roadside. Rajesh Gadhiya, Superintendent of Police, said, «The bus was going from Ahmedabad to Pune in which there were about 23 passengers. The driver of a cement tanker suddenly turned left and hit the bus. Two people have died and several people have been injured. Their treatment is underway. A case will be filed against the tanker driver and further legal action will be taken.»
