Rapper Sean 'Diddy' Combs files appeal for release ahead of upcoming sex trafficking trial
Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn while he awaits trial on sex trafficking charges. On September 30, his legal team submitted a formal notice of appeal in Manhattan federal court, indicating their intent to challenge Judge Andrew L. Carter’s ruling. The judge had determined that Combs poses a potential threat to witnesses if released, a central point that Combs’ defense team is now contesting. Combs, also known as Puff Daddy and P. Diddy, has been held in detention since September 17, after pleading not guilty to charges accusing him of orchestrating elaborate sexual events involving drug-fueled performances. These performances, referred to as "Freak Offs," allegedly involved Combs using his power and influence to coerce women into engaging in sexual activities with male sex workers. Prosecutors stated in the indictment, “For decades, Sean Combs abused, threatened, and coerced women and those around him to satisfy his sexual desires, protect his reputation, and hide his actions.”

Sean 'Diddy' Combs is not eating in jail; is he scared of poisoning, or on a hunger strike?
jail because he is scared and paranoid, as former prisoner Larry Levine reports. He has things on people who do have a significant amount of money out there. Former inmate Larry Levine claims that Sean Diddy Combs may have stopped eating in prison because he was afraid he would be poisoned, so that could be among the causes of his lack of appetite, as quoted in a report by NewsNation. Levine suggests that a hunger strike or simply bad food are other possibilities. He claimed that the food at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn is exceedingly bland and contains a lot of carbohydrates. Sean Diddy Combs, who is being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC), is said to be terrified that someone is attempting to hurt him by consuming his food. Pakistani national with 'Iran ties' charged with plot to assassinate Donald Trump
Pakistani national with alleged ties to Iran has been charged with plotting to assassinate former United States President and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump and several other public officials. US attorney general Merrick Garland, who announced the charges against Pakistani national Asif Merchant on Tuesday, indicated without naming Trump that the target was the former president. According to a criminal complaint unsealed in Brooklyn federal court on Tuesday, Merchant, after spending time in Iran, flew from Pakistan to the US in April to recruit hitmen to carry out the alleged plot. The plot failed, as per the complaint, as the person Merchant had contacted was a confidential informant working with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

Eddie Murphy accuses David Spade of racism, says he was target of 'SNL' joke. Details here
Eddie Murphy opened with the 'New York Times' in an interview and shared how he suffered painful «cheap shots» during his career. One such instance involved a joke David Spade made on «Saturday Night Live» (SNL). Murphy remembered being extremely insulted by Spade's joke in 1995 during Saturday Night Live's «Hollywood Minute» segment. «Look children, it's a falling star,» was the joke that surfaced after Murphy's «Vampire in Brooklyn» failed. It made fun of his declining career. As a key player in the history of Saturday Night Live, Murphy perceived this as a personal betrayal.
