The new order worth Rs 2,246 crore in West Bengal is for installation of 2.2 million smart meters in the state. There is a possibility of heatwaves and loo. From May 7 to 10, there will be a heatwave. From May 10-11, there is a possibility of light rain in some regions. From May 7 to 10, IMD Jaipur has issued a yellow alert for heatwave,» he added.
