The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorised to speak publicly about the matter, said the visit was supposed to come after this week's summit in the Russian city of Kazan of the BRICS bloc of developing economies, which Guterres attended.

BRICS summit, the Modi government has said that India and China have reached an agreement to resume patrolling in eastern Ladakh. Both governments should encourage enterprises that are willing to break new ground in investment and joint ventures, building leverage in fast-changing global marketplaces that lasts longer than trade partners.
