Air India is planning for a faster upgrade of its in-flight product on its key international routes to US and Europe as the Tata group airline tries to attract premium customers who had till now opted for Middle East carriers like Emirates and Qatar Airways due to higher service standard. The airline is planning to amplify its offerings with first class, on top of a business class in its new A350 planes and is also upgrading cabins in its A320 narrow body aircraft. Adani Airport Holdings Ltd (AAHL) said on Sunday that passengers across some airports in the country are facing disruptions in lounge access due to DreamFolks Services Ltd suspending its services. DreamFolks, the lounge access provider, acknowledged the disruption but said it is not related to any contractual issues and that they are working to resolve the problem quickly. AAHL, which runs seven airports in India—Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Jaipur, Guwahati, Thiruvananthapuram, and Mangaluru—said the problem is affecting services at four of these airports.

Rakesh Jhunjhunwala’s Rare Enterprises senior partner and chief executive Utpal Sheth purchased a sea-view luxury apartment in a super-premium residential tower in Mumbai’s plush Worli locality for more than Rs 123 crore. Sheth was considered the late billionaire investor Jhunjhunwala's right hand man for almost two decades and is also a cofounder of multi-line and multi-asset financial services platform Trust Group. The apartment, spread over 15,795 sq ft of usable area in Oberoi Three Sixty West on Dr Annie Besant Road, is on the 54th floor of one of the wings of the tower. NDA and opposition members, three Muslim organisations, including an RSS-linked outfit, on Friday supported the proposed amendments to the Waqf law before a parliamentary panel, sources said. Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (MMRCL) is set to inaugurate the city's first underground metro line Phase I of the Metro 3 corridor, covering the Aarey-Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) stretch, in the first week of October. The project, which has cost approximately RS 38,000 crore, aims to facilitate easier long-distance travel for commuters. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will officially open the 12km stretch, which includes 10 stations.
