In the function held at Raj Bhavan, leaders of opposition parties --the AIADMK, BJP, DMDK and Puthiya Tamizhagam-- took part. Chief Minister Stalin and his cabinet colleagues had attended the 'At Home' reception on the occasion of Independence Day in 2024.
