Shapoorji Pallonji Group is likely to raise around $3.3 billion through sale of bonds in the first quarter of the next financial year, two merchant bankers said on Wednesday. The group could raise anywhere between 270 billion rupees to 290 billion rupees ($3.1 billion to $3.35 billion) through a group entity, and the bonds are expected to be subscribed by private credit funds, the bankers said.

Bombay High Court directed the Family Court to hear their case on Thursday, considering Chahal’s participation in the Indian Premier League (IPL), which begins on March 22, as reported by Bar and Bench. Earlier, on February 20, the Family Court denied their request for an early divorce due to partial alimony payments. Chahal had agreed to pay Dhanashree Rs 4.75 crore as alimony but had only transferred Rs 2.37 crore at the time of the hearing. The court noted that he had only partially fulfilled the settlement terms.
