How did President Joe Biden prepare for the first Presidential Debate? Report highlights some shortcomings
President Joe Biden had ample time to prepare for the first presidential debate. According to the New York Times, the preparations were not taken seriously by the President who did not begin before 11am. He also had time for an afternoon nap. This was different from the strategy followed by his predecessor Barack Obama in 2012. Many observers noticed certain shortcomings during the president’s debate and were curious to know about his preparations for this important event. It has been reported that the preparations were cut short by two days after the president was exhausted. He had a hectic travel schedule to France and Italy before the debate.

Wings of Change: Wingers Williams and Yamal have made Spain the team to beat at Euro
Yamal seemed to become the face of this Spain side heading into Euro 2024. For one it’s his youth, of course — a star at just 16. There’s also the potential for so many storylines, with his birthday the day before the final itself. And while Lamal has the headlines and the highlights, it’s his teammate on the opposite flank, Nico Williams, who has been growing into the tournament in seriously impressive fashion, enough so that he now looks perhaps the most important key to them getting past tough upcoming op-ponents, in pursuit of a third European Championship success in the space of just 16 years. Williams’ performance in the 4-1 win over Georgia speaks for itself: an assist for the equaliser, the third goal to make sure of the victory and — quite incredibly for a forward against such an aggressive and front-footed defence — not a single misplaced pass. Oh, and his birthday is one day be-fore Yamal’s, too.

Nice is quietly becoming the coolest destination on the French Riviera
Looking for the sexiest, most fun-loving destination in France this summer? Avert your eyes from Saint-Tropez and look farther east to Nice, dismissed for too long as a retirement community for Europe’s aristocracy. You’ll still spot plenty of heavily tanned white-haired people walking alarmingly over-groomed dogs on the famous seaside Promenade des Anglais. These days, however, they’re joined by joggers, skateboarders and cyclists taking advantage of the countless new bike lanes that have been created since 2008.

India and the US have decided to extend a 2 per cent equalisation levy or digital tax on e-commerce supplies until June 30, the finance ministry said on Friday. In a major reform of the international tax system, India and the US have joined 134 other members of the OECD/G20 Inclusive Framework (including Austria, France, Italy, Spain, and the UK) in reaching an agreement on October 8, 2021, on the statement on a two-pillar solution to address the tax challenges arising from the digitalisation of the economy. On October 21, 2021, the US and Austria, France, Italy, Spain, and the UK reached a political compromise on the transitional approach to the unilateral measures in force while Pillar 1 is implemented. On November 24, 2021, India and the US agreed that the same terms that apply under the October 2021 Joint Statement shall apply between India and the US with respect to India's charge of 2 per cent equalisation levy on e-commerce supply of services and the US' trade action regarding the said Equalisation Levy.

Wimbledon 2024: Jannik Sinner's lively, new rivalry with Carlos Alcaraz
Federer: Twelve Final Days, was less than riveting. In this rivalry, Alacaraz has thus far cornered the star power, starting with his tattoo that repeats the motto his grandfather gave him: cabeza, corazon y cajones (head, heart, balls) to his more than occasionally theatrical on-court demeanour.
