Lalit Patidar has become a public figure. The Madhya Pradesh resident entered the Guinness World Record for having the hairiest face on a male. For the unversed, the youngster, who suffers from a rare medical condition, has over 95 per cent of his face covered in hair. Known as hypertrichosis, this condition causes an abnormal amount of hair to grow on the face. In an interview with GWR, Patidar revealed that living with this condition was far from a bed of roses. “They were scared of me but when they started knowing me and talking to me they understood I was not so different from them, and it was just on the outside that I looked different, but I’m not different inside," he explained.
