Ball Dreams Research wellness blues stars bowling SKY is a joke, glad he is in our team: Rickelton left gobsmacked by Suryakumar's trademark shot
Ryan Rickelton was left gobsmacked after witnessing Suryakumar Yadav execute his trademark shot, something he is not willing to pull off anytime soon. During the Mumbai Indians encounter against Kolkata Knight Riders in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) at Wankhede on Monday, Suryakumar made his presence felt with a pulsating cameo towards the end. In a low-scoring encounter, Mumbai were asked to chase down 117 by the Knight Riders. Rickelton had done most of the job by the time Suryakumar arrived at the crease. On his second delivery of the night, Suryakumar effortlessly unleashed his trademark shot. Without wasting much time, he got across the line and scooped it over the fine-leg boundary straight into the stand. «I just said to Quinny that SKY is a joke, stuff that I can't do, stuff that I can't dream of. He has played that shot many a time, I'm not going to try it but I'm glad that he is in our team,» Rickelton said after the match.

UPS BLOCK Ball Parke Department IPL 2025: Du Plessis, Mitchell Starc guide DC to seven-wicket win over SRH
Once DC openers made a quick start off the block, the result was never in doubt, but their approach was vastly different. Du Plessis wound the clock back with some stunning shots, such as a straight six off Pat Cummins. But at other end, McGurk was struggling for his timing, partly because of his exaggerated back-lift and partly because of his desire to hit all the ball out of the park. However, his senior partner was willing to do the heavy-lifting and brought up his fifty in 26 balls.

economy Fitch Trade President country reports India, Brazil, other emerging nations face higher risk of US reciprocal tariffs
Emerging economies such as India, Brazil and Vietnam, which impose tariff on American imports higher than what the US levies on them, face a high risk of reciprocal tariffs, global ratings agency Fitch said. “Brazil, India, Thailand, Malaysia, South Africa, Turkey and, on a simple average tariff basis, Vietnam and Indonesia, impose notably higher tariffs on exports from the US relative to tariffs imposed by the US on imports from these countries,” it said. US President Donald Trump has threatened with his reciprocal tariffs announcement on April 2 against trading partners he says have been “ripping off” the country by imposing high levies. As per the Fitch report, the tariffs in these economies were higher, both on a simple and trade-weighted average basis. “On a simple average basis, the highest differentials are in Brazil, India and Turkey,” Fitch said.

Provident FIVE Strategy Death stars reports CSK vs MI Weather and Pitch Report: How will the surface at Chepauk stadium in Chennai play for today's match?
CSK's star player, MS Dhoni, will once again be in the spotlight as he continues his long-standing association with the team since the IPL's inception in 2008. In contrast, Mumbai Indians will miss the services of their star pacer, Jasprit Bumrah, who is still recovering from a back injury. His absence is a significant blow to MI, especially in the death overs, leaving the team to experiment with alternative options and strategies. ALSO READ: Chennai Super Kings vs Mumbai Indians predicted playing XIs, head to head record Additionally, MI will be without their regular captain, Hardik Pandya, who is serving a one-match ban due to a slow over-rate in last season's final match. Suryakumar Yadav, the India T20I captain, will lead MI in this opener. For CSK, the selection dilemma lies in choosing an opening partner for Ruturaj Gaikwad, with either Rachin Ravindra or Devon Conway likely to fill the spot. The middle order will include Rahul Tripathi, Shivam Dube, Hooda, Vijay Shankar, followed by Dhoni and Jadeja. CSK’s recent good record against Mumbai, including four wins in the last five encounters, will boost their confidence.

Target Ball WhatsApp stage bowling IPL 2025: RCB restrict Rahane-led KKR at 174 in opening clash at Eden Gardens
Kolkata Knight Riders, setting a target of 175 for Rajat Patidar-led Royal Royal Challengers Bengaluru. Despite Kolkata started on a weak note with South Africa's Quinton de Kock wicket in the first over of the opener, skipper Rahane came to the rescue and formed a strong partnership with Sunil Narine. Skipper Ajinkya Rahane made a wonderful 56 but defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders could only manage a sub-par 174 for eight against Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the opening match of the IPL 2025 here on Saturday. Rahane made his fifty off just 31 balls and shared a 103-run stand for the second wicket with Sunil Narine (44, 26b) as at one stage KKR looked to break the 200-run margin with ease. However, RCB bowlers led by left-arm spinner Krunal Pandya (3/29) staged a splendid comeback. Josh Hazlewood got two wickets. Royal Challengers Bengaluru captain Rajat Patidar won the toss and opted to bowl against the defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders in the tournament opener of the 18th edition of the cash-rich Indian Premier League (IPL) at the iconic Eden Gardens on Saturday.

Target Injustice President Persona country social Department Who is Ebrahim Rasool? South African ambassador to the U.S who has been declared persona non grata and asked to leave the country by Donald Trump; here's the reason why
Trump administration escalated its rift with South Africa by declaring the country’s ambassador, Ebrahim Rasool, persona non grata—a rare diplomatic rebuke typically reserved for lower-ranking officials. Secretary of State Marco Rubio accused Rasool of harboring anti-Trump sentiments, citing a webinar where the ambassador criticized Elon Musk’s ties to far-right European figures. Rubio’s announcement, made via social media during a flight from G7 meetings, left the State Department scrambling to clarify details, including whether Rasool was even in the U.S. at the time. Rasool, a veteran anti-apartheid activist and ally of Nelson Mandela, previously served as ambassador from 2010–2015 before returning in January. His expulsion follows Trump’s executive order slashing aid to South Africa, citing contested claims about land reforms targeting white Afrikaners. The move marks a dramatic downturn in relations, echoing Cold War-era diplomatic standoffs but breaking precedent by targeting an ambassador.

Putin expressed gratitude to Donald Trump and Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi, among other world leaders, for their «noble mission» to resolve the conflict. Speaking at a joint press briefing in Moscow with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko on Thursday, Putin said he is «grateful» to all the leaders for their efforts towards the goal. «As for Ukraine's readiness for a ceasefire, I will tell you how I view it, of course. But I would like to start by thanking the President of the United States, Mr Trump, for paying so much attention to the Ukraine settlement. We all have enough of our own domestic affairs to attend to,» Putin told reporters. «But many leaders of states, among them the President of the People's Republic of China, the Prime Minister of India, the Presidents of Brazil and the Republic of South Africa are addressing this issue and give it a lot of their time. We are grateful to all of them for that because this activity is aimed at achieving a noble mission — the mission of ending hostilities and loss of life,» Putin said. It may be recalled that Modi had repeatedly called for peace over the last three years while resisting huge pressure from the Western powers to take sides in the war.
