Arnold Schwarzenegger reveals his approach while adjusting body size for movie roles
Arnold Schwarzenegger has always been open about sharing his personal experiences, insights, and expertise on maintaining a healthy physique at any age with his fans. Recently, he addressed questions regarding how he approaches adjusting his body size for various film roles, according to reports. In his response, the 'Terminator' star described it as «turning the dial». He explained that he makes gradual adjustments, either by adding or eliminating certain foods, like cutting out bread or incorporating it, and then assesses the results. He iterated that if necessary, he would make further adjustments in the same manner. Schwarzenegger has previously mentioned his tendency to avoid counting calories and admitted that he often has «no clue» about his daily caloric intake on an average day. Recently, Arnold Schwarzenegger was uncertain «how good» he would be as a grandparent. The 76-year-old Hollywood star has grandchildren Eloise Christina, 16 months, and three-year-old Lyla Maria through his daughter Katherine, 33, and was initially unsure how he would fit into his new family role at the time but has found that things are «easy» because he has a lot of pets for them to bond with, reports aceshowbiz.com. Actor and politician Schwarzenegger has also recalled an old incident when he had a secret affair with his housekeeper. The former bodybuilder bluntly said of his affair with housekeeper Mildred Baena, which ended his marriage to Maria Shriver in 2011. Arnold and Mildred Baena’s extramarital tryst resulted in a child named Joseph, who was born five days after the ex-California governor welcomed his son Christopher with his ex-wife.

Antarctic sea ice sets new record. Check its impact on global weather, climate
To put this into perspective, the 'missing' sea ice measures approximately 386,000 square miles less than the previous record low recorded in 2022, which is larger than the land area of Egypt. As the southern hemisphere transitions into spring, the US National Snow and Ice Data Center (NSIDC) said in a statement that Antarctic sea ice had only reached a maximum size of 16.96 million square kilometers (6.55 million square miles) this year, on September 10. The ice pack typically reaches its largest size during the colder winter months, so the September 10 reading will likely remain this year's maximum. «This is the lowest sea ice maximum in the 1979 to 2023 sea ice record by a wide margin,» said the NSIDC, a government-supported program at the University of Colorado at Boulder. At its high-point this year, the sea ice was 1.03 million square kilometers smaller than the previous record, roughly the size of Texas and California combined. The vast glacial ice sheet of Antarctica and the ice covering the surrounding seas play a vital role in climate regulation. They act as a reflective surface, bouncing the sun's energy back into the atmosphere and space. In contrast, the dark surface of the ocean absorbs a significant portion of the sun's incoming energy. Therefore, a reduction in sea ice leads to higher temperatures, creating a self-reinforcing cycle that accelerates global warming.

Hindu Parents, Dalit group celebrate veto of California's anti-caste discrimination bill
Hindu Parents of California, eminent Indian-Americans and a Dalit advocacy group on Saturday welcomed the decision of California Governor Gavin Newsom to veto the anti-caste discrimination bill observing that this bill was brought with the sole intention of «stereotyping the community». Governor Newsom vetoed the bill, which was recently passed by the state assembly, saying that laws to ban caste-based discrimination already exist in the state.
