Waves Aware Southern Experts 2020 reports Climate change is real: Summer of 2023 was California's coolest in more than a decade
summer was the hottest ever in the Northern Hemisphere. In fact, scientists announced last week that June, July and August this year were the warmest on record globally, confirming that the horrific heat waves in many places were as awful as they seemed. But, as you're probably already aware, the summer didn't bring record-breaking heat to California. Some daily temperature records were broken in July in Palm Springs, Anaheim and Redding, but overall, the Golden State actually enjoyed its coolest summer since 2011, said Dan McEvoy, a researcher with the Western Regional Climate Center. That's a particularly big relief after three consecutive summers that all ranked among the state's 10 most sizzling on record. The northern third of California was warmer than usual (compared with the past 30 years) because of a high-pressure system over the Pacific Northwest that reached into the northernmost parts of the state, McEvoy said.

COST IPO Southern performer track recommendations Vaibhav Jewellers IPO opens for subscription. Should you invest?
Analysts are mixed on the IPO mainly due to the competitive nature of the industry in which the company operates. «We advise investors to wait and watch the performance of the company once the stock is listed and then take a call,» said Avinash Gorakshakar of Profitmart Securities while recommending an «Avoid» rating. However, StoxBox said the company's product catalogue, stronghold in the southern markets and a good track record are some of the key positives driving the company's future prospects. «The pricing looks attractive vis-à-vis its peers as it values MVGJL at 11.7x of its FY23 earnings. We, therefore, recommend a SUBSCRIBE rating to the issue,» it said. Vaibhav Jewellers is one of the earlier entrants in the organised jewellery retail market of Andhra Pradesh and continues to focus on regional expansion into the high-growth untapped regions within the micro-markets of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. About 77% of its retail showrooms are in tier-2 and tier-3 cities and the rest are in Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam catering to urban consumers. The IPO comprises a fresh issue of Rs 210 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of up to 28 lakh equity shares.

Citi show social rapper 2020 reports Nicki Minaj’s husband Kenneth Petty faces 120-day house arrest. Here’s what happened
Kenneth Petty, Nicki Minaj's spouse, is now serving 120 days of house detention for violating his probation terms. This violation stemmed from social media clips where he seemed to threaten rapper Offset. A court order filed recently in California's Central District directed Petty to undergo home monitoring due to recorded threats directed at a specific individual, identified as Offset. These threats were evident in social media posts made on September 16. Petty received a three-year probation sentence in July 2022 after admitting guilt for failing to register as a sex offender in California in 2020. His criminal history includes a 1995 conviction for first-degree attempted rape of a 16-year-old girl, resulting in a four-year prison term in New York. The viral video from September 16 showed Petty and his companions outside a New York City hotel, where Offset was reportedly staying. Amid various menacing remarks, Petty uttered, «Plan that vacation, you gonna be planning your funeral, pussy!» Offset, formerly part of the Migos rap group and Cardi B's husband, responded to the threats in a video on his social media platform. He downplayed the situation, saying, «I'm getting off a jet, he's funny,» and suggested that Petty was financially unstable. It's worth noting that Nicki Minaj and Cardi B have a history of feuding, culminating in a physical altercation at the Harper’s Bazaar Icons party during New York Fashion Week in September 2018. Videos from the event circulated widely on social media, depicting Cardi B lunging at Minaj and initiating an altercation.
