According to the platform, these cities include Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Faridabad, Noida, Gurgaon, Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Pune, with plans to expand to more cities. The smartphone brands available include the iPhone 16e, Samsung M35, OnePlus Nord CE, and Redmi 14C. Quick commerce platforms have been continuously expanding their offerings by partnering with brands and introducing products that were previously sold on ecommerce platforms. Rivals Zomato-owned Blinkit and Zepto are also offering electronics and phones, in addition to items such as fashion, accessories, beauty, and personal care products.

While speaking at an event, Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) director General Arvind Kumar said the organisation, formed under the Next Generation Incubation Scheme (NGIS) of the Ministry of Electronics and IT, has given early-stage seed capital of Rs 30.87 crore to 136 startups and financially incentivised 359 others through a stipend amount of Rs 3.57 crore. «Amongst these supported startups, 134 have also been able to raise external funding from an investor community comprising angels and venture capitalists of about Rs 286 crore, which is not only a validation of their business but also the testament of the progress made by these startups,» Kumar said during the STPI Sangam event on Friday. «I am proud to share that 44 per cent of STPI's startup portfolio consists of women entrepreneurs, many of whom come from Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities. The second session of JEE Main 2025 will be held between April 1 and April 8. Air India Saturday announced that the airline has resumed operations from London's Heathrow Airport after the disruption following Friday's power outage. “Our operations to and from London Heathrow (LHR) have recommenced after the disruption at the airport yesterday due to a power outage. Today’s flight AI111 was on schedule and other flights, to and from London, are expected to operate as per schedule. Flight AI161 of 21 March, which was diverted to Frankfurt, is expected to leave Frankfurt at 14:05 pm local time,” Air India said in a statement. On Friday, Air India said its operations to and from the London Heathrow airport were disrupted, with one flight returning to Mumbai, another diverting to Frankfurt and other flights remaining cancelled due to a temporary suspension of operations at the airport.

Karnataka Infrastructure Development Minister M B Patil on Saturday announced that a multidisciplinary team from the Airports Authority of India (AAI) will visit the state in April to conduct a feasibility study for the second international greenfield airport in Bengaluru. Three locations have been identified for the project. The team is scheduled to visit the state between April 7 and 9, he said. Patil stated that the Karnataka State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (KSIIDC) has already paid a fee of Rs 1.21 crore to the AAI for the study. Two sites on Kanakapura Road and one on the Nelamangala-Kunigal Road have been shortlisted for the proposed airport.
