Juel Taylor has revealed the inspiration behind his first film as a director, They Cloned Tyrone. Taylor is a co-writer on Creed II (2018) and Space Jam: A New Legacy (2021). They Cloned Tyrone is a science-fiction comedy inspired by movies like The Truman Show and even bits of Taylor’s personal life. Here’s what the director said.

One Twitter user wrote, “So you agree you are part of «Team NDA»? f someone (assuming a fan of your genuine work) requests you to present the real story of Manipur, you will target him & put a tag/label? Why not present the reality of Manipur & if u don't wanna do it, then don't target/label people!!!”
