All efforts are ongoing to trace the missing person by the police department and security forces by launching search operations in all suspected areas.”

The 53-year-old mayor-Erdogan's main political rival-was arrested Wednesday, days before he was to be named the CHP's candidate for the 2028 presidential race. The move sparked two days of protests that began in Istanbul and quickly spread to at least 32 of Turkey's 81 provinces, as per an AFP count. The Union minister was also asked whether the government plans to collaborate with international organisations or other nations to strengthen India's efforts in recovering stolen antiquities. «India collaborates with different international organisations, including UNESCO and INTERPOL, as per requirement. The CPA has provision for fostering cooperation and mutual understanding in the matters of technical assistance, illicit trade and pillage of cultural property,» he added.
