Lauryn Hill has postponed her Fort Worth show as part of the 25th-anniversary tour for her 1998 album, «The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.» The reason for the delay is ongoing vocal issues. Hill had previously delayed a show in Philadelphia due to the same problem. She explained in a tweet that doctors have advised her to rest her voice. Hill mentioned her struggle with vocal strain and injury over the past week and how she had continued to perform by using medication to mask the injury. She acknowledged the unsustainability and risk of this approach. Hill woke up on the day of the Fort Worth show with severely impaired vocal abilities, which led her to the decision to postpone the event. The artist expressed her desire to heal and rest her voice so that she can continue the tour in the future. She thanked her fans for their support and indicated her anticipation of returning to Texas. As per the latest information available, there has been no announcement regarding a rescheduled date for the Fort Worth performance. The Miseducation tour, including occasional reunion performances by the Fugees, started in early September in Minneapolis. Hill had previously postponed a show in Philadelphia to avoid further strain or damage to her vocal cords. However, she managed to perform in Chicago, where Chance the Rapper, one of her notable fans, was present with his mother. The next planned tour date is scheduled for November 2 at the Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado.

Larsen and Toubro (L&T) is foraying into fabless semiconductor chip design by setting up a subsidiary, the engineering major said on Tuesday. The company has approved an investment of Rs 830 crore to set up a wholly-owned subsidiary that will be engaged in the business of fabless semiconductor chip design and product ownership and not manufacturing, said L&T chief financial officer, R Shankar Raman. «At the moment we are looking at fabless semiconductor chip design business as a less investment, high technology business. We will have an R&D center for fabless semiconductor chips that may be in the US,» said Shankar Raman post the company's earnings call on Tuesday.

Transport Corporation of India reported a 20% rise in its consolidated net profit to ₹87.8 crore in the September quarter of FY24. The company earned a profit of ₹73 crore in the September quarter of the previous financial year. Its consolidated revenue jumped by 7 percent at ₹1,005 crore, the company said in an exchange filing.
