Netanyahu’s private residence in Caesarea was hit by a drone launched from Lebanon. The Israeli military confirmed the incident, stating that the drone “hit a structure” near the prime minister’s home, according to AFP. Israeli media outlet Channel 12 reported that a senior government official confirmed Iran’s involvement in the attack. Netanyahu’s office released a statement assuring that the prime minister and his wife, Sara, were not at home during the attack, and no injuries were reported. «There were no injuries,» the statement emphasized. The attack marks a significant escalation in hostilities along Israel’s northern border, with Hezbollah suspected of orchestrating the strike. Two additional drones fired from Lebanon were intercepted by Israel’s air defense system, preventing further damage. Sirens blared across several northern Israeli cities, including Haifa Bay, Kfar HaMaccabi, Kiryat Yam, and Kiryat Atta, warning of incoming rocket fire from Lebanon, The Times of Israel reported.

Amid Lawrence Bishnoi threats, Salman Khan buys bulletproof car from Dubai: Check price, features
Salman Khan is going all out on security after receiving multiple death threats. The ‘Dabangg’ star has reportedly invested in a brand new bulletproof car. Reports now suggest that the actor is going to great lengths to ensure his protection. According to Bollywood Society, Salman Khan has recently acquired a bulletproof Nissan Patrol SUV. Since this vehicle is not available in India, it is said that Khan is importing it from Dubai. The car, priced around Rs 2 crore, will reportedly incur additional costs for expedited delivery to India. Details about the car found online reveal that it comes equipped with cutting-edge security features, including sensors to detect explosives, reinforced glass capable of withstanding close-range gunfire and tinted black windows to conceal the identities of those inside. This is not the first time Salman Khan has made such a purchase; last year, he imported another bulletproof car from the UAE after receiving his first death threats from the Bishnoi gang, which also targeted his father, Salim Khan. For the unversed, the ‘Bodyguard’ actor has been a target of the notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi for quite some time now. Days after the murder of politician Baba Siddiqui (who was close to the star), he received fresh death threats.

Entry-level sales ride on two wheels this festive season
Executives at two-wheeler companies and dealers predict the momentum to continue in the coming weeks, making this festive season ending with Bhai Dooj on November 3 to be among the best for the industry. They also project sales for the fiscal year to be close to the pre-pandemic record of 21 million units hit in fiscal 2019, boosted by an expected pickup in rural economy on the back of favourable monsoons and good farm output, as well as an increase in minimum support prices for several key crops. Also, the recent government decision raising the dearness allowance is expected to put more money in the hands of 10 million central government employees and pensioners, and a part of this is likely to be spent on buying discretionary items like two-wheelers. Sales of two-wheelers rose 15.4% in the 10-day period of Dussehra ending October 12 compared with the festival days of October 15-24 last year, shows vehicle registration data from the government’s Vahan portal, collated by Goldman Sachs. Other segments of the vehicle industry too posted growth, with sales of cars increasing by 6.6%, three-wheelers 12.3%, light goods vehicles 9.1% and heavy goods vehicles 5.8%.
